Dr. H. Allen Chen graduated from the School of Stomotology, Peking University, Beijing, China in 1984. He investigated the possibility of developing a vaccine against human periodontal disease at the Centers for Research in Oral Biology, and also completed his residency in the Dept. of Periodontics, University of Washington, School of Dentistry. He received his certificate in Periodontics and M.S.D. in 1997. Dr. Chen became board certified in 2005, by the American Board of Periodontology.
Both Dr. Quinn and Dr. Chen are members in good standing in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Washington State Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and International College of Oral Implantologists.
Drs. Quinn and Chen are directors of the SouthShore Study Club, a group of General Dentists and Specialists exploring comprehensive dental care for their patients. SouthShore is affiliated with the Seattle Study Club, an international network of study clubs with similar goals, and is approved as a continuing dental education provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.
