Dr. Richard S. Quinn graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1970 with a degree in Biology. He received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in 1974. Following graduation, he completed a general practice residency in the United States Air Force and spent several years as a general dentist in the USAF in North Carolina. He returned to the University of Washington for a residency in Periodontics, obtaining a Certificate in Periodontics in 1979. Following completion of that residency, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington for 10 Years. Dr. Quinn is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Both Dr. Quinn and Dr. Chen are members in good standing in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Washington State Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and International College of Oral Implantologists.
Drs. Quinn and Chen are directors of the SouthShore Study Club, a group of General Dentists and Specialists exploring comprehensive dental care for their patients. SouthShore is affiliated with the Seattle Study Club, an international network of study clubs with similar goals, and is approved as a continuing dental education provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.
