Bone Regeneration
Bone regeneration is one of the treatment options when your bone has been destroyed due to periodontal diseases or other infections. The most recent materials and methods have been tested and found effective. Our materials may include cadaver bone from a highly screened and reputable source, and may also include tissue modifiers and growth enhancers that increase the predictability of the procedure. Regeneration is a very exciting and dynamic field, and we strive to keep abreast of the latest techniques and materials that have been studied and proven to safely enhance healing.
Question and Answer:
Q: How long does it take?
A: The procedure time varies depending on the area and severity of the bone loss, normally 1-2 hours.
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes! No disease transmissions or immune reactions have been reported with the material that we use.
Q: Will the regeneration last a lifetime?
A: The area will need to be maintained properly after the procedure to ensure that you do not have future bone loss. Remember the same factors that may have caused the bone loss in the first place may also cause the regenerated tissue to be lost.
